This is a LIFE-style blog instead of a life-STYLE blog. This is a web forum where I talk about my life and the style in which I live it. This is NOT a blog that will have perfect photos of my newly feng shuied and expertly decorated apartment and rooftop terrace with an entry about the importance of natural light. While I long for all those things in my life, I currently don’t have anything close to them so I can’t even pretend to have my life that together. This blog will accurately and truthfully reflect the struggle of being in my 20’s, having a college degree in a field that many people see as superfluous, being unemployed, living at home, and having no idea what I want my career to be or ultimately what I want from life.
Here, you will find anything that is going on in my life – this could include a response to an article I read with a link so you can form your own opinion, a copy of my resume with a list of Do’s & Don’ts for resumes and cover letters that I’ve learned, a video montage of my week, or even a Buzzfeed-esk list of all the things I love about Chrissy Teigen. I aim for this blog to be a digital archive of my life. I think my life is entertaining. And all great art comes out of an inherent struggle and right now I am in the midst of one – I feel completely lost. I have no job – not even a lead on a job. I spend every day looking up and applying for entry-level jobs I am under-qualified for. I don’t know what I want from life or where I want be. This blog will be the documentation of my journey of my attempts to be a grown-up and figure out this thing called life.
